Reading aloud and Writing copies

I haven't written articles for this blog recently.

But I've struggled for improving English skill by reading aloud and writing copies. I got 705 points on TOEIC test in April, and maybe I improved my English better than the test.

I know that it's necessary for me to train English skill like sports. And I've been training for more than 5 month. I understand videos that are spoken in easy English on Youtube now.

I'll take upcoming July's TOEIC test for getting over 800 points. I'm not sure I can get 800 points. But I won't stop English training.

A new samue for summer

I received new samue for summer what I ordered.

The samue is made in Japan, and very light.
I liked it.

El Capitan and Bluetooth speaker

I faced trouble in my mac and bluetooth speaker again.

I fixed by following operation.

1. Power off bluetooth speaker
2. Reboot mac os
3. Power on bluetooth speaker
4. Connect bluetooth speaker

I'm not sure why it was fixed.

610 points on TOEIC practice test

I tried TOEIC practice test in Sunday.

I marked 610 points, but I could reach over 650 points.
So I was dissatisfied.

I'll try official practice test next Sunday.

I feel better now

I wrote that it's something wrong with my brain.
I felt like this photo. But I felt better now.

Because I improved English listening, I tried TOEIC practice test yesterday. And I marked 355 points on listening. I'm sure I can mark over 600 points in next TOEIC text in April. Next test, I'll aim over 730 points, because I'm sure over 600 points.

Something wrong in my brain

Since I could listen English, I feel something wrong in my brain.

I'm tired? This morning I also feel something wrong. Yesterday, I drank a can of beer, and I slept well last night. But I'm still tired? Something wrong.

I can listen to English

Yesterday, I was listening to BBC's Today.

At first 2 hours, I can't take meaning of English. I can feel English sound, but I can't combine English sound and meaning.

But after 2 hours, I could feel meaning of English. I was surprised. I watched and listened English broadcasts in the Internet. And I recognized I can listen English. I'm not  sure which training is good for me.

This morning. I'm not sure whether I can listen or not.

It's warm

It's warm. 19C in my room.
I don't need a heater this morning.

I've drank yakult 2 bottle per day for a week. I feel better in toilet. Yakult must be drank 2 bottle per day for health.

Actually, I replaced gogo no koucha milk tea. I have drank gogo no koucha mutou(non sugar).

And I thought it's reasonable to drink tea from tea bag. So I bought tea bag yesterday. I prepared tea this morning, and I felt no labor to make tea.

Job report day

Yesterday was Job report in US.

I watched Bloomberg. In Japan, Job report is 22:30PM. So we can have beer every month. But I already drank beer at 17:00.

In daytime, I went to local event.
Hina matsuri.

air in my ear

Last week, I caught a cold. And air entered from nose into ear.

So I went to the nose and throat hospital Wednesday. I have took medicines, and it's 3th day. I wake up, and I felt air in my ear. I felt better yesterday, but air entered into my ear during I slept.

I bought tumbler again

I bought Zojirushi's tumbler on Amazon again.

Usage of tumblers is;

300ml: drip coffee
450ml: 350ml can of beer
600ml: 500ml pet bottle of beverage

I'll take photos when I receive the tumbler.

CME Nikkei future rally

Actually I bought Nikkei leverage ETF 2 week ago? 3 week ago?  I forgot. Anyway I checked CME Nikkei future, and it rallied. I'll hold ETF till "sell in may", or plunging before rainy season.

I bought another zojirushi's tumbler. I have already bought 450ml. I bought 300ml yesterday. I used 450ml tumbler for beer and coffee. I felt smaller one is better for coffee. So I looking for smaller on Amazon, and I found 300ml one.

Sleepy

I wake up late. I'm sleepy.

It's March from today.
But a little cold.
Maybe it'll be warmer day by day.

I marked 650 points maybe

I tried TOEIC practice test yesterday.

Listening：raw score72 adjusted score300-385
Reading：raw score66 adjusted score260-355
Total：560-740

Maybe I can think I marked 650 points. Not like the practice test I took before, The practice test indicates only score range. Thinking I marked 650 points, I could gain 75 points than the test I took in 31 January.

I'll try prepare test again

1 month past since I took TOEIC test.

I'll try TOEIC's prepare test again, so maybe my English skill is improved a little maybe. My aim is still 600 points.

My bowel is something wrong. I think I'm taking medicines, and it's killing good bacteria.

In last year, I didn't catch a cold, because I had 2 yakults every day. Thanks to good bacteria, I didn't have any sick through year.

I went to clinic

I caught a cold 3 days ago.

At first, I feel something wrong in the evening. And I feel better next day morning. Then I feel wrong again in the evening 2 days ago. So I went to clinic yesterday.

I gave medicines. And I feel better this morning again.

I drank beer too much

I drank three 350ml can of beer last night.
And Suddenly slept.

I remember nothing.

I marked under 600

I checked the score of TOEIC in January.

I was disappointed by myself.

My aim in April is also over 600.

It's warm

It's warm this morning. 14C in my room.
According to whether forecast, It's very warm today, and It'll be chilly tomorrow.

The day of TOEIC score is tomorrow. I feel very scary. I'm afraid if I marked under 600 points.

By the way, for TOEIC in April, I'll try official workbook next Sunday. I took the test 3 weeks ago, and maybe I improved English skill.

I bought tumbler

I bought a tumbler. It'll be here by noon.
The beer's can is soaked every time in summer. So this tumbler is good for me.

TOEIC score in January will be revealed next Monday. I thought it's too late, but I think it's scary now. If I marked under 600 points, I'll feel so bad.

TOEIC official workbook

I reserved TOEIC official workbook yesterday.

I intended to buy it a bookstore near my home. But yet arrived, and a attendant says 3 of this workbooks will be there in next Saturday. So I reserved it.

I wonder if what I write is truly right. Sometimes I don't think English grammer when I write this blog's article. Thanks to "A Japanese life in strange English", I can confidently make a mistake in my article. But I wonder if someone feel bad about this blog.

I'm trying to reduce sugar in gogo no koucha milk tea from this morning.

I'm drinking a half of bottle. Another half of bottle will be for tomorrow. It's too short to be satisfied. But It's bad for my health to take sugar too much.

I don't have anything to write

BBC Radio4's sitcom on 11:30AP GMT Wednesday started last week. And 2nd episode was yesterday. I can't get fast English of the sitcom.

My aim of English is;

1. Can listen to BBC Radio4, and Bloomberg TV.
2. Can read the Economist easily.

So at least I must be able to listen the sitcom.
But I can't now.

This morning I woke up a little later.
Oh. I really don't have what to write.

So I tried Vocabulary test for today's article.

7310 words is batter result than I thought. Maybe I know relatively difficult word than I checked in word list. This result says I can pass EIKEN pre1 grade, or mark over 730 points in TOEIC Test.

I thought a little I have to try EIKEN except for TOEIC test.

I bought a cloth cap

I bought a cloth cap.

I have 2 cloth cap, but the cap for winter is bad feeling to wear. And I've worn those for several years. So I bought new one. That's for all season. So I don't need more caps. Of course someday I'll buy another one, so I can have many caps. But now I want to think this one only.

I'm member of Amazon prime. I can receive that in the afternoon maybe.

It's also warm this morning

It's relatively warm this morning.
I don't need kotatsu.

I can't wait TOEIC score which I took in January. I can check after 7 days, next Monday. I want TOEIC to send score more fast. But TOEIC score is calculated  statistically. Maybe it needs much time, I think.

Today's Nikkei is going to rebound, I see. It plunge 3 days, and in this pattern it will be rebound. But I won't buy ETF now. I'll buy 2nd wave on eliot wave principle.

Too warm...

It's too warm today.

It's 20C in my room. I don't need heater this morning. It'll be chilly tomorrow, according to whether forecast.

By the way, I read English news every evening. I found that reading English became fun. I can read easy English like BBC News. As usual, it's hard to listen to native speaker's English. But next TOEIC's reading section will be better.

It's warm

I woke up at 2:30AM.

It was too warm to keep sleeping. So I got up and listened BBC Radio, and music in iTunes. Recently I have not listened music. I was dizzy when I started listening to music.

I become sleepy.

It'll be warm today and tomorrow. The day after tomorrow, it'll be cold again.

USD/JPY is falling to 112. And CME Nikkei225 is around 15000. I think that it was better to losscut and lose 6% of budget.

Spring comes soon. Festivals will be held round my town. In my town, many old hina dolls will be displayed in old house. Neighbor town, Sakura Festival will be held, and many people come the town.

Recently I'm watching Bloomberg TV when I write blog articles. Usually I can't understand what they say. Will the day to understand perfectly all English come?

I'm memorizing English words

I started memorizing English word from Monday.

I found that a word memorized was in Bloomberg TV. I recognized Kikutan TOEIC990 is a nice word list.

As usual, I can hear sound of English words in TV and Radio, But I can't understand meaning of English. I'm studying every day. So maybe I'm going to understand English. But sometimes I think it's too late to master English. Could someone master English in 42 years old.

I sold ETF and lost 6%

I sold nikkei leverage ETF yesterday thanks to terrible plunge.

Sakata gohou is not sure for today's market? I lost 6% of my budget for market. I aim under 15000 next time.

Nikkei225 is plunging

As you know, I didn't sell ETF yesterday. And I buy ETF more.

I woke up, and checked CME nikkei225. It's plunging...
Yesterday's daily chart indicates turning rally in sakata gohou. Why is such a thing  happened.

In the end, I spent 2/3 of trading budget, and I'll follow a original plan to buy and hold. I'm going to have to hold for long time.

I didn't sell ETF

It seemed I'll sell ETF, But I didn't sell.

I see that Nikkei225 down to 16400. if less than 16400, it'll be 15600, if less than 15600, it'll be14800.

But I didn't sell.

Hmm...

I forgot I have ETF this weekend. I was happy.
So I didn't think I have to losscut or not.

I think it's better to losscut when the price of ETF is lower than last trading day. But if higher, my view of sakata gohou is right. then I don't need losscut.

By the way, Is it true that the demand of engineer is boosting recently? I read this. I was a computer engineer. But I had a disorder when I worked for a company. I'm afraid of having a job because of the experience.

I could understand news in English?

Recently I watch Bloomberg in the morning, and I listen to BBC Radio 4 in the afternoon. I have been listening to news in English all the day from May 2015.

I felt that I could understand English on BBC Radio more than usual. But I thought that I'm short of vocabulary. My vocabulary is about 6400 words now.

Actually, I would restart memorizing English words in February. But I felt I don't need vocabulary when I take TOEIC test in January. So I didn't restart. But I felt that I must memorize more words yesterday when I was listening to BBC.

So I'll start memorize English words from tomorrow.

I bought ETF, but...

I bought nikkei leverage ETF yesterday.

I thought that weekly chart is good on sakata gohou. But I felt that I took mistake, after I bought. And This morning, I checked CME nikkei 225 future. It's become lower. But I wonder that it's better to losscut. At first, I'll buy and hold, but I sold and take profit. So I can hold and don't have to sell this time.

By the way, I felt that Labor report was relatively positive. But market is negative. Why? Trading robots (software) recognize it was negative?

I checked CME Nikkei future. Nikkei225 is plunging...

I don't have any stock and ETF. But I didn't think this situation. I'll buy ETF when someone stops this plunge.

By the way, I don't wait score of TOEIC test in 31 January. I'm going to mark 600 points, but by any chance it will be under 600 points. I can't read the score.

I sold ETF yesterday

I sold leverage EFT at opening yesterday.

A sign of top was in 2/February. So, in 3/February, I thought to sell and try again. Nikkei is remaining declining for good or bad. I'll buy again after restart rally.

By the way, I felt dizzy from the day after yesterday. And I thought that 4K display is too near, so I feel dizzy. But I felt better dramatically after I took a medicine. I'm hay fever.

I put 4K display on my desk the day before yesterday.

But I felt dizzy yesterday. Maybe 4K display was too near me on my desk. So I moved 4K display there.

I removed TV and put 4K display.

I bought 4K display

I bought JapanNext's 4K display. I connected with MacBook Pro 2014.

I was using MacBook Pro like this.

I put the 4K display like this.

I couldn't let the 4K display output 60Hz. I struggled it, but I found that MacBook Pro 2014 can't output 4K@60Hz but 4K@30Hz. But I could output like retina display with my setting.

I liked this display though this display had a little downside. For example, sticky tape was on the logo on front panel, and the display's body is shaken when the display's button is pushed.

TOEIC test in January

TOEIC test ended yesterday.

I feel that listening section was more difficult than I think, and reading section was easier than the practice test that I tried. I'm optimistic about getting 600 point. But 15 years ago, I felt very easy, and I marked 350 points...

I'd like to take TOEIC in April to keep the motivation to study English. I think it's a little too frequency, but I took EIKEN 2nd grade in October. Maybe once three month is better than once 6 month.

TOEIC test day

Today is TOEIC test day.

I don't prepared enough for the test, but I have studied every day. I have listened BBC  radio4 and Radio Australia, I have studied NHK radio English, and I have written this blog.

I aim 600 point on this test. Maybe I can mark that, but I took TOEIC test before over 10 years ago. I marked 580 points on practice test.

Minus interest?

I'll write about Japanese stock market because I have nothing to write.

Yesterday's market is shaken between upward and downward because BOJ's president said about minus interest between bank and central bank.

I was with my mother and my little nephew, and watching ETF price when the president say that. Suddenly my revenue is increased. I knew that BOJ meeting held, and I recognized there was good surprise. I was pleasure my account was increased. But the revenue increasingly decrease. I think "oh, round trip market".

In the end, Tokyo market is closed upward.

*: I wrote "zero interest", but it's mistake. I knew "minus interest".

It may be snow?

It may be snow in wether forecast.

If forecast is right, it's snow now. But nothing happened in my area. It may not be snow today.

Basically south Kanto region don't have snow.

I bought Nikkei ETF

I bought Nikkei leverage EFT yesterday.
I spent about 1/3 of my budget of stock market.

Yesterday, I suddenly felt dizzy when I studied NHK radio English. I thought that this is pressure of stock market. I thought ETF must be sold for my health. But I felt better after about 3 hours.

By the way, my nephews will come to my home, because my brother's wife will go to ceremony for her uncle. I must study English as early as possible today.

NintendoDS TOEIC soft

I found NintendoDS soft for TOEIC, in my shelf. I tried the soft, and I thought to prepare TOEIC by the test day.

But I can't remember why I couldn't continue studying by the soft. I saw that I couldn't listen the listening part. I found studying record in the soft is stopped I studied a few part of listening. It's the summer in last year that I was able to listen BBC.

And I found my weak point of part 3, 4 in TOEIC.
I read a question before a conversation, but I'm not good at this technique. And sometimes I read a question with listening a conversation. I heard that male brain can't do multiple thing. So I must concentration a conversation when part 3, 4. I heard that the master of listening , of course, can listen with reading.

It's chilly this morning too

It's chilly and mostly sunny.

South Kanto region has no snow and no cloud. So It'll be warm at noon. But It's chilly now. Heating oil in my heater was short. So I went out to refuel.

I've ordered 2 text book for quick response now. It'll arrive at evening today. The book which I've used has a little strange expression in English. So I ordered better one.

Next Sunday is TOEIC test

It's very chilly this morning.
it was 7C in my room.

Next Sunday is TOEIC test. But internet declines my motivation to study English again. A school of thought says that almost Japanese don't need to study English.

Internet says that just only global leaders need English in Japan. and says "remember you haven't used English in your local town". So I thought I don't need English.

But I'll continue to study English with my thought.

I lose a sense of English

I wrote blog article in Japanese.

And I lose a sense of English. I can't think in English. It's strange sense.

But I can say that once I can get a sense of English. I'd like to continue studying English.

I could get new sense

I woke up at early morning.

Suddenly I feel that I'm thinking in English. I recognized it suddenly. Maybe I could get new sense of English. English sentence is popping up in my brain. OMG.

But I'm thinking in English like child. So my strait English is very simple. But I get a sense of English.

I don't have any ETF yet

In fact, I've not bought any stock yet.

I wonder if I buy nikkei leverage ETF at open yesterday. But I don't believe my chart, and thought that it remain plunge. But rallied.

I'm still thinking that yesterday's candle stick is bakesen of sakata gohou. Bakesen is fake rally. If it remain rally, I'll buy on dips.

Stock market is difficult.
I think I quit trade before buy stock.

I've made original chart before. I checked the chart now, and I wonder that 'it's time to buy'. I've decided time to buy by Sakata Gohou. Sakata Gohou is candle stick patterns. I expanded that. That's my top secret.

Of course I don't buy once. I'll separately buy 3 times.

I intent to be back stock market. I'll buy Nikkei ETF when plunge turns rally. In elliot wave principle, If plunge end, it won't be low than the level.

I have ever studied elliot wave principle, and I recognized Nikkei 225 is follow the principle. I can say it with confidence. Of course I don't say 'you should buy'. Though you'd be beaten in stock market because of my thought, I don't have responsibility.

Painful stomatitis

I have a stomatitis now.

Maybe I'm vitamin B shortage, because I quitted eating rice at breakfast and dinner. I get not only better waistline but a stomatitis.

By the way, I have an admission ticket for TOEIC test. But suddenly I didn't want to take the test. Maybe I can't mark over 600 points.

Snow didn't fall

Yesterday it was snow in Kanto region.

But in our town it wasn't snow, though our town is in Kanto region. So we didn't have confusion by snow.

Our town has no problem by whether anytime.

Practice test 580 points...

Yesterday I tried TOEIC practice test.

I marked 580 points. I didn't reached 600 points that is next test's aim.
Listening 310 points, reading 270 points. I felt before that I can get over 400 points in the listening section. but I can't.

I googled about listening skill, and I found that listening skill has 2 stages, 1st stage is that I can listen English only as sound, and 2nd stage is that I can also take meaning. Maybe I'm on 1st stage. So I must train to take meaning.

I googled more, and I found that "quick response" is good for 2nd stage. That is also called "shunkan eisakubun" in Japan. In particular, I read a Japanese sentence, then I speak the English sentence that is translated the Japanese sentence.

Fortunately I bought a book about quick response before. So I'll use the book.

I tried 20 sentences of quick response yesterday. Of course I didn't change myself dramatically. But I'll try 20 sentences every day. It's too easy, but I think that it's difficult to continue.

Dondo Yaki

Yesterday was Dondo Yaki.

Neighbourhood got together for burn bringers of good luck and bake dangos. And my nephew burned paper of calligraphy for new year by himself. Dondo Yaki is held on paddy like this;

 

I heard that I never catch a cold this year because I eat the dango baked on the fire.

I entered Amazon Prime

Yesterday is cutoff day of my credit card.

I buy which I'd like this morning. And I applied Amazon Prime again. Last month I applied Amazon prime, but the charge day is 15/Jan/2016 that is cutoff date of my credit card. So I quitted once, and entered again this morning. Then I'll not be worry about 3900 yen of every January's budget. Of course I'll pay for February's purchase.

And I bought a bunker ring, and NHK radio English class's mp3s.

I'd have like a bunker ring. (I wonder if this sentence's grammar is good) I'll try it for my iPhone6 and Kindle Pater White, and I decide to buy one more. It'll be good for who has short finger like me.

NHK radio English class's mp3s were downloaded. I already have a real text book. I'll be able to study English next month.

Anker's waterproof speaker

I wrote that I'd like iPhone7, and bunker ring. Now I'd like a Anker's Bluetooth waterproof speaker.

I'd like to listen to BBC Radio 6 in the bath. So I thought to try a ziplock for my iPhone6. but I feel that maybe it'll be broken. So finaly I've not tried a ziplock. Next time I thought to try waterproof speaker. But I couldn't find a best product.

Recently I found on Hackadoll that a Anker's speaker is on sell in Amazon. I liked a Anker's mobile buttery when I played Ingress. So I'll like the speaker. But the speaker is not in Amazon. I couldn't find it. After several day, I found it, but it's "delivery after 3-5 weeks". I thought that this is a revelation not to spend money.

Chilly morning

I wake up at between 6am and 7am.

It's chilly morning today. Recently I feel difficulty to wake up at morning. Even though I have sweated in bed sometimes, it's very chilly at morning.

It's 10 degree at morning. A heater's thermometer indicate 7 degree. I put on a down best, and I felt warm. Is it true that Japanese house can't warm enough, so Russian house is warmer than Japan?

It's about 2 weeks that I have been writing blog article in English again. As ever I'm writing strange English. What is good solution?

I'd like bunker ring

I'd like a bunker ring.

I found this in a YouTube video, and I want, because my fingers is too short. If I use this, maybe I can use iPhone only left hand. Of course I can use both of hands, but I'd like to feel like a parson with long fingers.

But many similar item is on amazon.co.jp. If these has no difference, I can buy cheeper one. But cheeper is something wrong maybe. So I'll buy a bunker ring.

Eating weed (not marijuana)

I got up late, because I pop up "eating weed" in my dream.

in this article, weed is not marijuana. I mean grass growing on a road, or a bank by a river. I googled "食べられる雑草(eatable weed)". And I found many weeds can eat. So I'll stroll around my home, and I'll found eatable weed.

I have backache

As written in a title, recently I have backache.

Several years ago, I suddenly felt strong backache. After that, it stopped and restarted. And now I feel a little backache, though I don't do nothing.

My mother say that the reason is workout shortage. I haven't workout since February in last year. I had played Ingress with my bicycle for 2 month. But I don't want to play Ingress again. I have to find a good excise.

I'd like iPhone7

Recently, I'd like iPhone7.

As I have a SIM-free iPhone6 without phone carrier's loan, I don't need to buy every 2 years. But I feel it's time to buy another iPhone. Apple's products is seem to be bought every 2 years.

I checked account book last night, and I found that I'll be able to buy iPhone7 if I won't spend money for others. 

I'd like SIM-free iPhone7 64G. I had had 16G, but it's inconvenient to take a movie and to listen to music.  I'll possibly buy 128G.

Job day in US

I watched Bloomberg last night.

Yesterday is Job day in US. I thought that the world economy still depends on  spend power in US.

My nephew back to his home yesterday

My nephew had stayed my home about for 2 weeks.
He back to his home yesterday.

He finished his homework yesterday, too. He was taught writing by my neighborhood who was a Japanese teacher, And he wrote "This Year's Aim". He wrote better than I write in Japanese.

My nephew's school begins tomorrow.

Today, My parents and I go to a temple for new year prayer. I don't know good expression of "hatsu moude". In short, We'll be given a prayer by buddhism priests.

My nephew's holiday

My nephew's winter holiday is by tomorrow.

His homework will be maybe finished. I have helped his homework every long holiday. Recently he's better at Math. So homework of Math is finished for 1day. But he don't have willing to do other homework. But he finished anyway.

Maybe I'll mark 650 on TOEIC

My English listening skill is slowly improving.

I begin listening to English broadcast in May in last year. I have listened to NHK world, BBC radio, Bloomberg, and Al-Jazeera all day long from May.

I listened a CD of TOEIC pre-test book last night. I could listen over 90% of part 1 and 2. From scores I marked on the book before, I can mark over 400 points on listening section. So I'll mark over 650 points maybe. I improved English reading, too. So I can aim to 730 points.

This is counting chickens before they are hatched.

About Sankarea

I don't have material for today's article. So I'll remark a manga.

Sankarea;
I began to read this manga from my hometown's festival in last year. Actually, this manga's stage is based my home town. Author of Sankarea have visited my home town for getting a idea. In last year's festival, cosplay event held, because my hometown is holyland of Sankarea. My hometown's landscape is drown in Sankarea.

Sankarea's story is "A girl become zombie by a boy". It's awful for my town's story. But This manga is very interesting. Why can he make a Zombie? Why can a zombie girl remain her beauty? Will she eat him?

I had dango

I went to Oiso for a little preparation yesterday. It was beautiful day to go out. Shonan region had many people for Hakone Ekiden.

I came by Odawara on the way to home.
And I had this at a cafe;
